| Breaking News | | Tuesday, July 5th, 2016: Ledet Bewilders Buffaol
At Rebels Ballpark today Bismark dropped a 8-0 decision to Wickham Ledet and the Oxford Rebels. The Buffaol offered little resistance to Ledet, who stopped them on 4 hits, fanned 5 and walked 3.
This year Ledet has a 4-6 record and a 3.16 ERA.

| Sunday, July 3rd, 2016: Lake Charles Hopeless Against O'Mulloy
Today at Rebels Ballpark John O'Mulloy really had his stuff working. The Oxford hurler mystified the Lake Charles Crying Eagles and shut them out 4-0. O'Mulloy allowed a total of 5 hits in the ballgame.
In 2016 O'Mulloy has a 3-2 record with a 2.28 ERA in 10 starts.

| Monday, June 20th, 2016: Iquina on Fire, 5-7 Against Evansville
History in the making. That's what the fans at Rebels Ballpark got to see today, when Oxford outplayed the Suck 3-2. Jorge Iquina of the Rebels came to the plate 7 times and came away with a dynamite day as he exploded for 5 hits against Evansville.
In the postgame press conference the Evansville skipper quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get him out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink."
J. Iquina singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, struck out in the 12th, grounded out in the 14th and singled in the 17th.
Thus far this year Iquina is batting .247 with 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored.
