Evansville was pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard today as Bob Brandenburg blanked South Texas 3-0. He stopped them on 2 hits with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts.
His skipper said, "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite. He was on top of his game in this one."
This season Brandenburg has compiled a 2-4 record with a 5.27 ERA in 8 starts.
