Goose eggs were the order of the day for Baton Rouge as Quentin Parr shut out the Gators 2-0 at El Paso Municipal Grounds. The Long Island pitcher struck out 6 and walked 2 while allowing 3 hits.
In 17 starts this year Parr has posted 10 wins while suffering 5 losses. He has pitched 132 innings, allowed 94 hits, struck out 137 and has a 1.98 ERA.

 | Tuesday, June 21st, 2016: James Schumacher Suffers Injury
"It was kinda freaky. Hopefully, I'll be back in the lineup soon," said a dejected James Schumacher after injuring himself in a game against Ithaca. The Baton Rouge manager told reporters, "He will miss up to 2 weeks with dead arm syndrome." The Gators are expected to announce a roster move in the next day or two.
Currently Schumacher has 5 home runs and a .356 batting average.

 | Saturday, June 18th, 2016: Brown and Vaughn Suspended 4 Games For Brawl
The league commissioner's office announced today that Jimmy Brown of the Outlaws and Gary Vaughn of the Gators have both been suspended for 4 games for fighting in the recent game between Baton Rouge and Tombstone at Outlaw Ballpark at Boothill Plaza.
So far this year Brown is batting .298 with 5 home runs, 24 RBIs and 35 runs scored.
This season Vaughn has a 9-1 record with a 2.05 ERA.
