| Breaking News | | Monday, July 11th, 2016: Maddison Honored by Ramon Culley Maddison burst onto the Ramon stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie catcher for Bellevue garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy.
The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .538 (14-26) with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs last week.
This season Maddison is hitting .367 with 3 home runs. | | Sunday, July 3rd, 2016: Great Stroke: Herod Gets 6 Hits 6 times is a charm -- at least in the world of baseball. When a player gets 5 or more hits in a game, he is honored in the record book and the latest honoree is Jesse Herod of the Bellevue Blitz. He tore up the Cordell Coyotes to the tune of 6 hits in 7 at-bats in the Bellevue 20-4 win today at Blitz Ballpark.
"Herod was a tough out today," the Cordell manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
J. Herod hit a solo-shot off B. Banderas in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
Herod is currently hitting at a .324 pace with 8 home runs and 41 RBIs. | | Tuesday, June 21st, 2016: Year Ends for Janus Ramage in Bellevue Bellevue has lost starting pitcher Janus Ramage for at least 7-8 months. He was hurt in a game against the Calusa while throwing a pitch and sustained a ruptured tricep tendon. His doctors said Ramage will probably be out the rest of the year.
His record this year is 5-3 in 10 starts and Ramage has a 3.58 ERA. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 40-29, .580 PCT | | Position in Division | 1st, - GB | | Record at home | 15-18, .455 PCT | | Record on the road | 25-11, .694 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 2-2, .500 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 9-10, .474 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 11-8, .579 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 29-21, .580 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 6-4, .600 PCT | | Record in April | 4-2, .667 PCT | | Record in May | 17-12, .586 PCT | | Record in June | 13-12, .520 PCT | | Record in July | 6-3, .667 PCT |
