| Breaking News | | Friday, July 1st, 2016: Jackson Guns Downs 17 Tigers
Nebraska Viper Sharks starting pitcher Bryce Jackson brought his best stuff to the game against the Springfield Tigers today at Viper Sharks Ballpark, striking out 17 batters in his club's 5-1 victory. In a strong performance, the 21-year-old Jackson gave up 7 hits in his 9 innings of work and issued 2 walks.
"I felt good out there," he commented after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my off-speed stuff was sharp. That combination was giving hitters fits and working well for me."
This season Jackson has registered 8 wins and 3 losses in 11 starts with a 2.98 ERA.

| Friday, June 24th, 2016: Loranger Gets 2-Game Suspension
During the Nebraska-Siberia game yesterday at Viper Sharks Ballpark, Viper Sharks second baseman Albert Loranger threw a fit arguing a third-strike call and was issued a 2-game suspension by the league office for his inappropriate behavior and aggressive conduct.
In his season totals, Loranger has no home runs, .268 BA, .308 OBP, 7 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has played in 22 games.

Goose eggs were the order of the day for Siberia as Bryce Jackson shut out the Express 2-0 at Viper Sharks Ballpark. The Nebraska pitcher struck out 11 and walked 4 while allowing 2 hits.
