| Breaking News | | Thursday, July 7th, 2016: Ruiz Socks 300th HR Oklahoma City defeated Tombstone today 8-5 and took some of the joy out of Ben Ruiz's 300th career home run.
"I just wanted to get a good swing on the ball all day," Ruiz said. "And I did."

The Twisters manager said, "You could see he was aggressive up there. The worst thing we did was throw him a strike. It probably would have been better if threw the ball outside of the strike zone every time he came to the plate because he seemed like he was in a hurry to get it over with."
In his 1794-game career Ruiz is hitting .287 with 1852 hits, 280 doubles, 44 triples and 300 home runs. He has scored 1151 runs and driven in 997. | | Tuesday, July 5th, 2016: Will Oklahoma City Trade Unhappy Catcher?
