Wednesday, June 29th, 2016: Frost No Match for Chicago
Ángel Chicago dominated the day, pitching shutout ball against the Bandits and holding them to 4 hits. He fanned 11 and walked 2 in spinning his 5-0 win.

"I can't take all the credit for this one," Chicago said. "I had some great defense behind me."

This year Chicago has compiled a 4-4 record with a 2.47 ERA in 9 starts.
Tuesday, June 28th, 2016: Leyva Dominates Bandits in Shutout
Romeo Leyva of the North Dakota Rams was on top of his game today. He tantalized the Frost Bandits with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest and came away with a 5-0 shutout.

In the postgame comments, the Frost skipper said, "He had the changeup working. You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower."

The North Dakota hurler had 7 strikeouts, gave up 1 walk and surrendered 1 hit in his complete-game effort.

Leyva told reporters after the game, "To be successful in this league, you have to keep the ball down. If you don't, they'll make you pay."

Checking out his stats for the season, Leyva has notched 6 wins and 2 losses in 11 starts, 2.30 ERA and struck out 66 batters in 82 innings.
Tuesday, June 28th, 2016: John MacBeth Lost for Season
North Dakota has lost shortstop John MacBeth for at least 11 months. He was hurt in a game against the Bandits while throwing the ball and sustained a torn bicep muscle. His doctors said MacBeth will probably be out the rest of the year.

This season MacBeth is hitting at a .290 pace with no home runs, 3 RBIs and has scored 6 times.
