Saturday, July 2nd, 2016: Pell Tosses Shutout Against Rapid City
Gary Pell of the Harrisburg Assassins shut out the Rapid City Gamblers 2-0, stopped them on 3 hits and had 8 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing.

After the game his manager said, "He just came out and was on the attack from the first pitch he threw. When Gary stays ahead in the count, he does well. That's the key."

This year Pell has compiled a 7-5 mark with a 2.63 ERA.

Thursday, June 30th, 2016: Gamblers Blank Assassins, Richardson Wins
Kurt Richardson of the Rapid City Gamblers blanked Harrisburg 6-0 on a 4-hit complete-game shutout, striking out 8 batters and walking 2.

Richardson has made 7 starts, tossed 60 innings, struck out 50 batters and walked 19. His record is 5-1 with a 3.75 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .265 batting average.

Saturday, June 11th, 2016: Longden Tosses Shutout Against Boise
Rodney Longden kept Boise hitters off balance all game long as the Rapid City pitcher blanked the Farm Boys 10-0. They managed to get 5 hits off Longden, who struck out 10 and walked 2.

Looking at his season stats, Longden has won 6 and lost 3, collecting 51 strikeouts and 19 walks in 79 innings with a 2.85 ERA.
