"I hope we miss him next time," the Clinton manager said. "Galante certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
Niagra Falls starter Gianluigi Galante tamed the Clinton Cyclones 1-0 with a 2-hit shutout, finishing the game with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in a sharp outing.
"I enjoy facing a team like that where I can get an out on one, two or three pitches," Galante said. "It gives me a chance to be a lot more aggressive."
This season Galante has worked 108 innings with 67 strikeouts en route to a 5-3 record and a 3.17 ERA.

Magic was in the air and on the mound at Clinton Grounds today as John Yeatman held Jackson spellbound in his 5-0 shutout victory. The Clinton pitcher went the route, ran up 3 strikeouts, walked 0 and held the Generals to 3 hits to garner the win.
To date this year Yeatman has won 4 and lost 7 with a 3.68 ERA, no saves and 41 strikeouts in no relief appearances.

| Thursday, June 16th, 2016: Paliz Hurls Clinton to Shutout Win
Alexis Paliz of the Clinton Cyclones was lights out in a 4-hit whitewash of the Frost Bandits.
He told BNN reporters, "I had my good stuff and it went where I wanted it to go."
He registered 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in shutting out Frost 2-0.
Paliz has a 7-4 season record so far. In 13 starts, he has fanned 73 batters in 96 innings with a 2.53 ERA.
