Breaking News Friday, July 1st, 2016: Diablos Hall June's #1 Pitcher As Zeshawn Hall hoisted up the Pacific Pitcher of the Month trophy for June, rumors have already begun to swirl about whether he will leave New Mexico once his contract is up at the end of the season. Hall put pressure on the Diablos to keep him around by posting a 5-0 record and an ERA of 2.14 over 42 innings last month. He also rolled up 45 strikeouts, increasing his value both to New Mexico and to every other team in the league. This year Hall has worked 119.1 innings with 117 strikeouts en route to a 9-6 record and 3.62 ERA. Tuesday, June 28th, 2016: Hall Whitewashes Long Island Zeshawn Hall of the New Mexico Diablos mixed his pitches well and fashioned a 1-0 shutout today. The 29-year-old hurler shut down the Long Island offense, holding them to 5 hits. He struck out 11 while walking 2. To date this year in 16 starts, Hall has crafted a 9-6 mark with a 3.62 ERA. Monday, June 27th, 2016: Week's Top Player: New Mexico's Amoros A battle-tested Humberto Amoros declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 33-year-old New Mexico catcher collected the Pacific Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .526 average, 10 hits in 19 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
