Valentin Hinman of the Vancouver Grizzlies was quite impressive as he blanked the Kearney Cattlemen 9-0 at Grizzlies Ballpark. He crafted a 2-hit shutout and chalked up 6 strikeouts with no walks in the contest.

Richard Frost came out firing strikes and when the game ended, the Bulldogs hurler had struck out 6 in leading Starkville over the Kearney Cattlemen 1-0. Frost allowed just 4 hits in the ballgame.
In 2016 Frost has fashioned a 7-4 mark, 3.48 ERA and pitched 113.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .254 against him and he has logged 80 strikeouts.

 | Sunday, June 5th, 2016: Takimoto Shackles Kearney
In a knockout performance, Hidetada Takimoto beat the Cattlemen 5-0 with an impressive 6-hit shutout.
The Keno hurler finished with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.
Takimoto told reporters after the game, "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working... it don't get any better than this."
The Cattlemen manager said, "It was a rough one for my guys. We weren't at our best... and their guy was."
In 11 starts this season Takimoto has recorded a 7-3 record and a 2.92 ERA.
