The Colorado City Goats met their match today in California City hurler Dustin Terrins. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 2-hit shutout.
"He just worked us over," the Colorado City skipper said. "He probably didn't even take a shower after the game. I don't think he even worked up a sweat. They could probably pitch him again tomorrow."
In the 4-0 victory Terrins whiffed 10 and gave up 2 walks.
So far this season Terrins has a record of 3-1 with 17 strikeouts and 3 walks in 17.1 innings and a 1.04 ERA.

Paul Redgate put together a good June to earn the Ward Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Colorado City officials that he belongs on the big league roster.
The Goats right fielder posted a .500 batting average with 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
Thus far this season Redgate has hit .355 with 6 home runs, 34 RBIs and scored 31 times.

 | Monday, June 27th, 2016: Crow Brilliant, Blanks Grizzlies
In an almost effortless performance, Brychan Crow of the Goats shot down the Grizzlies 4-0 on a 2-hit shutout.
His skipper said, "Brychan was just locating so well and using his pitches... not leaving anything over the plate."
Crow recorded 13 strikeouts and 3 walks in a strong outing.
In the postgame press conference, the Vancouver manager said, "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game like he can and we couldn't get a key hit off him."
In 2016 Crow has worked 107.1 innings with 93 strikeouts en route to a 9-3 record and 2.77 ERA.
