"I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Deese, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion.
"It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took."
The Brooklyn hurler held Fairfax scoreless, allowed 2 hits, chalked up no strikeouts and yielded 2 walks.

Nurguía was simply magnificent as he held the Foxes to 6 hits and had 4 walks in the game.
"My fastball was okay," Nurguía said, "but my breaking stuff really hurt them. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game."
When asked about Nurguía's performance, the Keno manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was pretty good out there today. He was dominating today."
To date in 2016, Nurguía sports a 6-1 mark with a 2.28 ERA in 9 starting assignments.
