Today at Skydivers Stadium Danny Canipe of the Scottsdale Suns permitted 2 hits, walked 3 and fanned 3 during the 6-0 shutout win over the Kingman Kings.
In 17 starts this season Canipe has gathered 7 wins while suffering 7 losses. He has pitched 115.1 innings, allowed 97 hits, struck out 86 and has a 3.75 ERA.

 | Tuesday, June 28th, 2016: Rousseau Dominates Kingman
Scottsdale pitcher Farnley Rousseau blanked the Kingman Kings 8-0, tossing a 6-hitter while issuing no walks and collecting 7 strikeouts.
After his sharp shutout performance, he said that he gives a lot of the credit to his batterymate. "Me and him are just locked in out there. He's so great at having a feel for hitters. I couldn't do what I'm doing without him."
In 13 starts this season Rousseau has fashioned a 4-8 record and a 3.62 ERA.

 | Monday, June 27th, 2016: Potent Bat Pays Off, Uchida Player of the Week
The Offenbaker League made it official today: Yoshihide Uchida is the Player of the Week.
He really sparkled on the diamond this week with a .500 average to take home the trophy. The Scottsdale center fielder went 12-24, drove in 6 runs, scored 9 times and hit no home runs.
So far this season Uchida is batting .307 with 3 home runs.
