| Breaking News |  | Thursday, July 21st, 2016: 5-Hit Blitz by Taylor
It was high-5 day at Farm Boys Field, at least for Clint Taylor of the Omaha Farm Boys. He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the Little Rock Wildcats. Taylor smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his record-setting day, leading his club to a 7-2 win.
His manager said, "Clint was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him."
In the other dugout the opposing manager told BNN beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine."
C. Taylor singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off M. Veeder in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
In 2016 Taylor is currently batting .304 with 11 home runs and 41 RBIs. In 72 games he has reached base at a .343 rate and scored 49 runs to date.

 | Tuesday, July 12th, 2016: Alvarez Spins Shutout Against Little Rock
Cleo Alvarez made quick work of Little Rock, blanking the Wildcats 7-0 at Alaska State Baseball Park today. The Alaska pitcher limited them to 6 hits to earn the victory. Alvarez fanned 7 and walked 1.
In 20 starts this season Alvarez has recorded a 12-5 record and a 2.03 ERA.

 | Wednesday, July 6th, 2016: Villar Shuts out Little Rock
Daytona's Oscar Villar breezed through the Wildcats lineup today, collecting a 4-hit shutout and a 11-0 victory along the way. Villar fanned 3 as well.
"I didn't really feel like I had my game today," Villar confessed, "but some days are like that -- you just gotta go with what you have."
So far this season Villar has a 9-5 record with a 3.97 ERA.
