| Breaking News | | Friday, January 9th, 2015: KL's Top Hitter for 2014 Named
Perth's David Harrison teed off on opposing pitching all season long and rightfully claimed his Kiwi League Hitter of the Year today.
He belted out 56 hits in 175 at-bats to compile his .320 batting average and .429 on-base percentage in 2014. He also tallied 6 doubles, no triples, 7 home runs, 31 RBI, and 34 runs scored.
For being named the KL's top hitter, Harrison will be honored at the SION Baseball Writers awards banquet this weekend.

| Thursday, January 8th, 2015: KL Pitcher of the Year Goes to Graybill
Just a few men in baseball history have won the coveted Pitcher of the Year. Mitchell Graybill joined this elite company today when the Kiwi League bestowed the honor upon the 22-year-old Perth starter.
Graybill put up a 8-2 record with a 1.94 ERA. The Scorpions ace started 12 times, pitched 88 innings, fanned 83, walked 39 and held opposing hitters to a .196 average.
The SION Baseball Writers Association will present his trophy to him at the annual gathering this weekend.
