| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, July 6th, 2016: Villar Shuts out Little Rock
Daytona's Oscar Villar breezed through the Wildcats lineup today, collecting a 4-hit shutout and a 11-0 victory along the way. Villar fanned 3 as well.
"I didn't really feel like I had my game today," Villar confessed, "but some days are like that -- you just gotta go with what you have."
So far this season Villar has a 9-5 record with a 3.97 ERA.

 | Wednesday, June 29th, 2016: Louisville Befuddled by Martin
Daytona's Isaac Martin dazzled the Racers Park at Exposition Square crowd with a fine display of pitching. From the start, Martin dominated the Louisville lineup en route to a sparkling 1-0 shutout. He finished with 11 strikeouts and 1 walk.
To this point in the season Martin has 7 wins and 3 losses and a 4.03 ERA.

 | Wednesday, June 8th, 2016: Percy Harmon Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year
Percy Harmon will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and stated the Daytona starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Harmon was injured while throwing a pitch in the Racers-Mounties clash at Racers Park at Exposition Square recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured bicep tendon and would be out a minimum of 10 months.
Thus far this season Harmon has posted a 5-6 record, started 13 games, struck out 58 batters in 86.2 innings and compiled a 2.91 ERA.
