Pearl Harbor pitcher Keon Prince blanked the Hamakua Paniolos 1-0, tossing a 5-hitter while issuing 2 walks and collecting 3 strikeouts.
After his sharp shutout performance, he said that he gives a lot of the credit to his batterymate. "Me and him are just locked in out there. He's so great at having a feel for hitters. I couldn't do what I'm doing without him."
So far this year Prince has a 9-1 record with a 1.87 ERA.

5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Hilo's Pedro Moncloua had a very special day against the Paniolos when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Hilo Surfers to a 8-7 win at Ballpark of Hilo.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Moncloua said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
P. Moncloua singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, walked in the 11th, singled in the 13th and grounded out in the 15th.
To date, Moncloua has collected 17 hits for a .486 average. He has posted 1 home run, scored 9 runs and driven in 6 runs.
