Thursday, October 24th, 2019: The season is about to start, so it's time for Baseball America to publish the annual Top 100 Prospects list. This year 17-year-old starting pitcher Vicente Valdevez of the Marianao Jonrons is the #1 prospect overall.

Saturday, October 19th, 2019: Several teams have surfaced as a possible trading partner with Lake Texcoco for Antón Fagundo -- or so rumor has it. Sources inside the Aztecs organization report that teams have inquired about making a deal for the 31-year-old first baseman.

| Evenson Tosses Shutout Against Salinas
Friday, October 18th, 2019: Layton Evenson of the Marianao Jonrons whitewashed the Salinas Kings 1-0 in a complete-game win, limiting them to 4 hits while chalking up 6 strikeouts and giving up 3 walks.
Talking to BNN writers after the game, his manager said, "He's got the makeup. He's not afraid to challenge guys. Layton is pretty poised out there. He knows how to pitch and how to use his stuff."
To date this season, Evenson has a record of 16 wins and 9 losses and a 4.15 ERA. He has appeared in 31 games and struck out 121 in 221 innings.
