Thursday, July 29th, 2021: Cisco Costa had a banner day at the plate today, stringing together all four legs of the cycle as the Cyclones beat the Farm Boys 9-2. Costa drilled 4 hits in 5 trips to the plate, collecting 2 RBI and scoring 4 runs to capture the win for Clinton.
Cisco Costa tripled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ángelo Aredondo in the 5th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
Costa is batting .305 this year with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 46 hits in 151 at-bats.

Thursday, July 29th, 2021: Goose eggs were the order of the day for Carlsbad as Adam DeCarewe shut out the Cavemen 4-0 at Ballpark of St. Simon. The St. Simon pitcher struck out 7 and walked 1 while allowing 3 hits.
This year in 12 starts, DeCarewe has recorded 1 win and absorbed 10 losses. He has pitched 67.2 innings, allowed 79 hits, struck out 72 and has a 5.59 ERA.

 | Muńóz 5-5 for Rangers
Wednesday, July 28th, 2021: On top of the Grand Canyon hit parade today was Florentino Muńóz. He went to the plate 5 times and tagged 5 hits, but it was Rapid City that marched off with the 7-6 win. He certainly had their number at the plate in this record-making 5-5 performance, however the Gamblers marked it up in the victory column.
The sweet swinging left fielder told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats."
The skipper of the Rangers griped to the press, "As a team, we just didn't do it with the bats and the pitching today. That's why we lost."
Florentino Muńóz singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and doubled in the 9th.
Muńóz is currently hitting at a .322 pace with 4 home runs, 46 RBIs and has scored 59 times.
