 | Ice Dogs-Coyotes Swap Confirmed Monday, March 2nd, 2020: The Alaska Ice Dogs announced a deal with the Coyotes today, sending 28-year-old left fielder Manny Acha and 29-year-old third baseman James Brenneman (FP) to Dakota for 30-year-old closer Billy Zamora and 25-year-old starting pitcher Sam McGrogan. It had been talked about for the past few weeks and everything came together late last night. All players are expected to be joining their respective clubs shortly. During his career Acha has notched 1054 hits and a .316 average with 84 home runs and 487 RBIs. Since joining the league, McGrogan has compiled an ERA of 4.09 with a career record of 55-61. He has 1020 strikeouts in 991.2 innings and has held opponents to a .251 batting average. |
