World Wide Baseball League News Article | |  | Monday, April 27th, 2015: Copperheads Hernández to Miss 1-2 Weeks The Phenix City Copperheads were dealt a serious blow when the team learned that Flaminio Hernández was likely to be out for 1-2 weeks after he injured himself throwing the ball in today's game against the Little Rock Wildcats. A round of tests by the team doctors revealed the injury to be a tender elbow. Upon learning of their diagnosis, the Phenix City manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries--they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Flaminio is back in action."
This year Hernández has hit at a .205 pace and produced 7 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 11 runs. | |
