| Breaking News |  | Monday, September 28th, 2015: Star of the Week Honored in AL
It was announced today by the Atlantic that San Juan first baseman Eddie Lazar had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week.
The San Juan first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .464 average (13-28) with no home runs and 10 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor.
Thus far this year Lazar has hit .329 with 30 home runs and 104 RBIs.

The Pacific announced today that Milford Smith of the New Mexico Diablos earned Player of the Week honors for his performance over the past seven days.
Smith hit .548 with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
A look at his 2015 stats shows Smith with a .345 average, 18 home runs, 73 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has played in 103 games.

 | Sunday, September 27th, 2015: Davis Out 10-11 Months with Injury
The Tennessee Trappers will lose the services of starting pitcher Memphis Davis after he sustained bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch in today's game against the Ithaca Atoms. When asked about the injury, he took a philosophical approach. "Worse things can happen in life," Davis said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for the next 10-11 months.
This year Davis has compiled a 18-7 mark with a 3.13 ERA.
